WORLD HISTORY 10

Course Description

In Grade 10, students will discover why the study of History is important and investigate the connections between the past and the world we live in today. We will study the trends and patterns of history to determine if history really does repeat itself, explore the beginnings of a global, connected, world and its implications, analyze different revolutions in history to unearth the secrets they hold, develop an understanding of the causes and consequences of WWI, discover WWII through the eyes of those who lived it, develop an understanding of the Cold War era and its lasting impact, and use this knowledge of history to delve deeper into the recent events of the modern world.
