Course Description

 

In Grade 7, students will get an introduction to the different histories, cultures, and influences of the world they live in. We will study the collapse and lasting impact of the Roman Empire, explore life in Medieval Europe, trace the beginning and rise of Islam and the Muslim Empires, analyze the intricate history of Chinese Dynasties & Feudal Japan, and develop an understanding of the West African civilizations and the impact they had on the world. Special attention will be paid to geography and its influence on the empires of old as well as the world of today.
