Course Description

In ESL Social Studies classes, students explore various topics of American and World History through a variety of activities, paying special attention to vocabulary building, reading comprehension, and grammar, as well as listening and speaking exercises and presentations. The goal of these classes is for students to develop a stronger understanding of different historical perspectives while increasing confidence in their ability to express themselves both socially and academically in English.
